Name: Matt Hoffman Position in cabinet: Vice President Year in school: Senior Hometown: St. Anthony, MN Favorite class:Oh I would say METEOR 311 with Dave. Couldn't get enough contouring! Favorite band:Umm not sure, I listen to rock, rap, and country much more! Favorite movie: Pastimes: I also enjoy comedy and action movies, music, TV, sports(hockey, golf, football), cooking and of course having a good time with new and old friends! Yeah ya betcha!! Area of meteorology interested in: Broadcast all the way! Favorite weather phenomenon: I do love a good tornado! However, a derecho came through one summer, and it was pretty fascinating how it blew through town. It's all great stuff! Favorite part about AMS: AMS is an amazing club. I have made so many friends through the years and keep in contact with those who have graduated. They will help me suceed after I graduate. I have learned so much from them, the meteorology program, and AMS that I know will be key in being successful after college. Oh and gotta mention the social events! Random fun fact: Back in the day, I owned a real piece of the hull of the Titanic. It was quite the souvenir haha! Unfortunately, I lost it....stupid move I know. |

Favorite band: All Time Low, Valencia, Hit the Lights Favorite movie: ET Pastimes: I love baking treats for my friends, knitting winter hats, making mix CDs, singing loudly in my car, listening to and loving my friends' Minnesota accents! Area of meteorology interested in: Broadcast! Favorite weather phenomenon: I love lake effect snow and water spouts on Lake Ontario! They're insane! Favorite part about AMS: the camaraderie, you just feel like you belong! The great networking you establish is awesome and so helpful. And Cy's Eye's on the Skies has really helped me get to know and love the broadcasting world. Random fun fact: I'm afraid of horses. And I also have 2 different thumbs! |

Name: Ryan Lueck Position in cabinet: Historian Year in school: Sophmore Hometown: Norwood Young America, Minnesota Favorite class: So far, MTEOR 111(Of course!) Favorite band: Truly an impossible question for me to answer, but The Police and Foreigner are up there. Favorite movie: Twister Pastimes: I enjoy photographing all types of weather, biking, rock and fossil collecting, table tennis, disc golf, ultimate Frisbee, and storm chasing whenever Mother Nature allows. Area of meteorology interested in: Forecasting, but more specifically the prediction of severe storms and the issuing of warnings for them and other dangerous forms of weather. Favorite weather phenomenon: Another impossible one to narrow down... derechos and thundersnow are among my favorite. Favorite part about AMS: Being around people who share the same passion for weather. Random fun fact: I'm an identical mirror twin, mirror meaning I am right handed whereas my brother, Anthony, is left handed |
